Lake Cuyamaca is open 7 days a week from 6:00 AM until sunset. Our full
service restaurant and store are open the same hours as the lake.
Fishing permits are $6.00 for adults and $3.50 for kids. You also need a
Calif. State Fishing License if you are 16 years of age or older. We sell one
day licenses for $14.04 and annual licenses for $43.46. Fishing Rod and Reel
rental $10.00 entire day with $30.00 CASH deposit.
We have a complete tackle shop that carries everything you need to catch
fish. Boat rentals are available. Motorboat rentals are $45.00 for the entire
day or $35.00 after 1:00 PM. Rowboats are $15.00 all day or $12.00 after 1:00
PM. Pontoon Boat is $150.00 entire day.
During the Summer months we rent paddle boats at $15.00 per hour. We do not
take reservations for boats and they are available on a first come basis. The
only difficult days are Saturday and Sundays when the fishing is very good. To
get a boat on those days you should arrive before 7:00 AM.
Due to threat of Quagga Mussel "Private Boats" are required to have a
decontamination wash down before launching. There is a $10.00 fee for
decontamination, separate from the launch fee. The fee for a kayak wash is
$5.00. Launch fee is $5.00. We have an excellent launch ramp from
which private boats over 10 ft. long may be launched. There is no horsepower
limit, however, there is a strictly enforced 10 mph speed limit. Canoes and
kayaks are allowed Memorial Day to November 1st. Only Zodiac type inflatable boats are
allowed. No inflatable rafts.
RV Campsites with hookups are $28.00. RV Campsites without hookups are
$21.00. Group RV site (8 spaces) $200.00. Tent Campsites are $21.00. Non-angler
access is $6.00 per car, payable only if there are no anglers in party.
All rates are per night (camping) Angler and Non-Angler per day.
