We are proud to announce our place in the top 5 Best Tent Campgrounds nationwide from Campspot!
As a small, independent special district that is funded by our fees and recives no tax funding, we have high regulatory requirements but less financial resources than larger/tax-funded districts. We also have more challenges than private parks in securing funding, having to rely on tight budgeting and grants for most of our large projects.
While we are of course partial to the beauty and peace of Lake Cuyamaca and the surrounding areas, we are forever grateful to our guests for sharing their experiences and securing this recognition. We will always strive to offer our guests a campground and park we are proud to represent and serve. The support of our customers and guests and our love for this beautiful hidden gem is what keeps us working hard, year after year, forever looking forward to bigger and better things for Lake Cuyamaca Recreation & Park District.
