Tent Camping

We have three tent campgrounds here at Lake Cuyamaca, all with a beautiful view of the lake: 

Chamber's Park, Lone Pine and West Shore.

Amenities

  • Bathrooms are located in all three campgrounds. 
  • Chamber's Park and Lone Pine have coin-operated showers.
  • Chamber's Park has a bait and snack shop, a playground, and a tetherball court.
  • Every tent site has a picnic table and a charcoal grill. 

Rates

  • ​$35 per night Sunday through Thursday. 
  • $40 per night Friday and Saturday.
  • (Off-season rate $20 per night Nov. 1 - Mar 31)
  • No refunds due to weather. 

​Information

  • Two weeks is the maximum stay at the lake, after which there must be a 30 day period before your next stay.
  • ​Maximum of two tents per site. Tent(s) must be set up within designated tent site. 
  • ​Our tent sites are not park-on sites. You will be parking in the parking lot and walking approximately 25-50 feet to your site. If you plan on sleeping in your vehicle you will need an RV site. 
  • ​Reservations are highly recommended, especially on weekends.  
  • ​Check-in is any time after 3:00 pm.
  • Checkout is any time before 2:00 pm.
  • ​Pets are welcome but must be kept on a leash and out of the lake. 
  • ​Friday and Saturday nights must be taken together.
  • ​There is a 14 night maximum stay.

​No wood fires are allowed at Lake Cuyamaca.
