Duck Hunting at the Lake occurs December and January. During hunting hours the Lake Loop trail, south end parking lot, and Fletcher Island are closed for use. No boats/kayaks/float tubes are allowed on the water during this time. Shore fishing is still on the North shoreline from Lone Pine to the concrete dock on the dike. 

Hunting hours are from before sunrise to 10am on Sundays and all-day Wednesdays. The park will be opened fully when Lake staff can confirm all hunters are off the Lake. 
February 8th the Lake sponsors the youth duck hunt, and the hours are from before sunrise to approximately 12pm. 

Due to lower than normal water levels, spots were limited this year and all season blinds are full.
